How to Increase Your Testosterone Levels

  • Eating cabbage, broccoli, and cauliflower removes an amount of estrogen in your body. Consuming these three foods is a really easy way to boost the amount of testosterone you have. A high amount of fat intake in your diet also contributes to higher testosterone levels as do cholesterol rich foods like eggs. Bacon and eggs for breakfast sounds pretty good, doesn’t it? Do some research on cholesterol before you go too crazy, but know that eating large amounts of cholesterol isn’t necessarily bad for you all of the time.

  • Fish oil and Vitamin D have been shown to provide men with a testosterone boost. You probably know that your body gets Vitamin D from exposure to the sun, so if you’re not the outdoor type, add foods that contain Vitamin D to your diet or get yourself a high-quality supplement and start taking it.

  • Dial it down on the caffeine. If you’re used to grabbing a large Americano or drinking three cups of coffee each day, take it down a notch. It will be a challenge at first, but keep in mind that excessive caffeine can make it harder to sleep, and, as you know, a lack of sleep means lower testosterone levels.

  • Getting enough exercise is great for a number of reasons. We won’t go over all of the reasons that exercise is good for you in this post because, let’s be honest, you already know that that’s true. But lifting weights as part of your routine will make the biggest difference in your testosterone levels.

  • Having sex more often increases your testosterone levels, too. Not a bad way to boost your testosterone, eh? You get a surge of testosterone each time you have sex, so whether you need an excuse or not, getting down with it more often is a good thing for your health.
